This looks like the Magi but this woman is not from “The Adoration of the Magi”. Anyway, it is by Joos Van Cleve circa 1500s.
I like hats sometimes but this bonnet looks like it would be uncomfortable to wear and certainly limit peripheral vision.

Fashion has changed but the process of cooking food is pretty much the same. Fortunately, men cook as well so it’s not only women’s work.
Fantastic Easter woodblock from the late 1800s! I never buy cards anymore since it’s so quick and easy to make them with some card stock and an inkjet printer. Don’t forget to stick some art on the envelope too.
